Years from now, I will still remember the honking.
Last night, Portland exploded with a passion it hasn't seen since the Blazers took the championship.
Everywhere you looked people were partying—hard!
Perhaps nowhere more so than at Willamette Week and the Oregon's Bus Project's Election Night bash at Grand Central Bowl. That party was packed. And why not? It featured Rick Emerson , Storm Large and what seemed like half of Portland. The other half was at the Oregon Convention Center, where the Dems rocked out with their Baracks out.
Evening highlights included watching the crowd outside Grand Central closing down Southeast Morrison Street, Mike Delman's free pizza and wine at Sparky's, the "Kate Brown sandwich" at the Convention Center, running into Steve Novick around midnight at a late night after party in The Red Lion and watching Nick Kahl chow down on a steak at Denny's around 12:30 am.
