Oregon State University basketball coach Craig Robinson must be feeling OK about the Beavers basketball team he's inherited.

For the second time this month, Robinson is taking a break from practice in Corvallis to come up to Portland for a rally to campaign for his brother-in-law Barack Obama. Tomorrow's event will be at Obama's Oregon headquarters at 3016 SE Division St.

If you're an Obama backer (or want to press Robinson for how he's going to get the Beavers to win a Pac-10 game this season), all the details are here in this news release from the Obama campaign:

TOMORROW, ONE WEEK TILL ELECTION DAY, CRAIG ROBINSON TO RALLY PORTLAND VOLUNTEERS TO GET-OUT-THE-VOTE

In the Final Stretch, Obama's Oregon Campaign for Change Continues Intensified Statewide Get-Out-the-Vote Efforts

PORTLAND, OR – Tomorrow, Craig Robinson, Barack Obama's brother-in-law, will headline a Portland-area appreciation event for Obama volunteers. Robinson will discuss with volunteers the importance of continuing grassroots get-out-the-vote efforts in this critical last week.

With only a week before ballots are due, the Obama campaign in Oregon is further escalating statewide mobilization efforts to encourage Oregonians to turn-in their ballots as soon as possible and to get involved in the campaign's GOTV efforts.

Oregon voters may return their ballots to an official ballot drop-site until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4th. To find their nearest official drop site, voters can visit www.voteforchange.com.
