Wendy and Lucy Trailer: My NoPo Neighborhood Has Never Looked So Sad

The trailer for Kelly Reichardt's new film shot in Portland last year, Wendy and Lucy, is up.

And it looks amazing—amazingly sad—that is.

The lonely image above (it's a screen grab from the trailer) was taken in the parking lot of my local NoPo neighborhood Walgreen's.

The whole trailer reminds me a lot of Gus Van Sant's earlier work. I can't wait to see it.
