BFD: NKOTB Fans in PDX R SOL!

The New Kids tour will not be stopping in Portland, due to "unavoidable scheduling conflicts." (Translated, that means they either didn't sell enough tickets or the one on the right is finally going to come out of the closet on either Ellen or the cover of People ). The seventh album from the original boy band, The Block , dropped on Sept. 8. While Donnie Wahlberg and his goatee remain the bad boys of the group, our snark is tempered by the album's impressive sales , and by a balanced review of the tour in the NYTimes .

Does this set the stage for NKOTB to be my generation's reunions-ad-infinitum band, à la Fleetwood Mac? Stay tuned...or not. Jeez, it's the Backstreet..I mean the New Kids.
