Wow. It's hard to keep up with the latest in the world of food and wine.
Here is just the latest:
The Chesterfield may be no longer. According to the OLCC the bar/lounge/hipster hangout that was until recently owned by
Leo Rivera of Bishops Barbershops has sold to someone named
Craig Readman (
this guy, maybe? ).
Word on the street is The Chesterfield,
which is now covered up in butcher paper, will reopen under a new, slightly hard-to-figure-out-why-its-called-that name:
The Report .
That is until you consider it's neighbor. Oddly enough,
the detritus that falls off a rocket when it blasts off the launch pad , or launch debris, is called "The Report."
And the restaurant that just so happens to hang high in the sky above Chesterfield ashes is—wait for it—none other than Leather Storrs'
Rocket .
In other news the Pearl District is about to pop open it's own
Cork wineshop . The second location for the super popular Alberta Street haunt will be located next door to the very cool design store,
Relish , at 1715 NW Lovejoy Street. Look for a November opening.
