MEWV showcased an entirely sustainable line created out of bamboo, soy and organic Cotton. Even though PFW's theme has historically been and will continue to be, eco-friendly designs, this shouldn't always translate to solid color banality. Kicking up the color and shape innovation would be nice to see but there were some nice ruffle details and interesting hemlines:

dlr Designs only debuts two collections each year but they are worth waiting for:
Revivall was for me, tonight's stand-out. The line pops with layers of bunched gingham, thick accented lace, colored overalls and for their Spring/Summer 2009 concept, has included ornate feather headdresses.
Cindy Taylor's Bon'Lou line is made up of her specialty, rich couture ballroom dresses.

StudioSKB showed the most pieces and incorporated a theme of "the great 1942 film 'Now, Voyager' to modern sustainable fibers: A girl blossoms into a woman during a trip to South America."
