You may have just spent the past weekend in a non-stop pool of sweat. But
Oregon just got a little bit cooler, at least when it comes to higher education in the eyes of the
Sierra Club.
The state is now host to five of the coolest schools in the country, according to a
recent survey by the Sierra Club's magazine, which ranks colleges' and universities' "cool factor" based on how green their campuses are.
Oregon State University ranks first out of the five Oregon schools on the list, coming in at 24th out of 162. Following OSU on the list were Portland State University (#27), Willamette University (#52), Lewis & Clark College (#77), and Southern Oregon University (#96).
