American Bar Association Says States Should OK Same-Sex Marriage

Days after a federal judge in San Francisco overturned Proposition 8, the American Bar Association passed a resolution today urging states "to eliminate all legal barriers to civil marriage between two persons of the same sex who are otherwise eligible to marry."

That's one more quiver in Basic Rights Oregon's efforts to bring marriage rights to Oregon, perhaps as soon as the 2012 election.
