We Feel Your Pain: Ban on Gay Marriage measure qualifies for November ballot in California

Dear California,

I was so sorry to see that a ban on gay marriage, which would define marriage as only between a man and a woman, is going to be put to state voters this fall.

Talk about a bummer. Oregon has already gone through this nightmare, and I have to tell you: It's a bitch.

Hopefully, you have enough mavericks in your state to make sure everyone does the right thing.

I don't say this often: but I am praying for you. God speed as you go through this ugly battle.
