Where The 2000-01 Trail Blazers Rank On One List of Most Hated Teams

Nothing like a summertime list of the 25 most hated sports teams of all time to while away a few minutes reading.

And who should make Sports Illustrated's list at #21 but the 2000-01 Trail Blazers, which SI remembers for "their incessant bickering and boorish behavior." That's a few places lower than the 1976 East German women's swimming team and the 1919 Black Sox, and just ahead of the 1983-84 Georgetown basketball team (hey, I loved that team.)

Also noteworthy about the Jail Blazers' entry is that the 2000-01 team is that it's one of only four NBA teams on the list (including next year's Miami Heat). And speaking of Miami, the Hurricanes' 1986 football team tops SI's list, though the 1990 'Canes have nothing to be ashamed of with their #11 ranking.
