Videos: Portland Cello Project with Builders and the Butchers, Weinland

Sometimes seeing a video makes you happy, sometimes it makes you sad. I missed the Portland Cello Project show at the Aladdin Theater last Friday, and seeing these videos (which look great for YouTube but leave a bit to be desired sound-wise—not that you could duplicate being in an amazing theater with wall-to-wall cellos, really) makes me feel like a big jerk for not showing. The Builders and the Butchers make good use of the cellists' hands, while the boys from Weinland, as always, looks like they're having a lot of fun.
In related news, Decemberist Chris Funk is recording the Butchers' next album, and the nationally recognized shredder has promised some photos and video before too long. That certainly falls into the "happy" category.
Videos:
The Builders and the Butchers, "Bottom of the Lake"
The Builders and the Butchers, "Golden and Green"
Weinland, "La Lamentor"
All these videos were posted by the Portland Cello Project itself. Multiple cameras, nice lighting. Lookin' pro, Cello Project! Unlike this old favorite, the PCP covering Britney Spears' "Toxic":
