At Last, A TV Ad That Carries a Party Label

We've been on the lookout this election season in Oregon for a candidate ad that mentions his or her party affiliation. Credit to The Oregonian's Jeff Mapes for finding one.

It's from U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer.

The east Portland Democrat faces little opposition in his overwhelmingly Democratic district and his 30-second TV ad channeling the need for Democrats to defend their record certainly cements Blumenauer as President Obama's favorite Oregon Democrat (a reminder that the president will be in Portland later today.
