Why You Should Never Write About Your Friends: Lesson #212

Before I turn in my Queer Window column, as a general rule I check EVERY name.

It's just what you do in this line of work.

So there's no excuse for me misspelling someone I consider "family."

Cascade AIDS Project Executive Director Jean Ann Van Krevelen does not have a "e" on Ann.

Oops.

When I called her this morning to apologize for the error, all Jean Ann said was: "What's an "e" among friends?"

Sorry, Jean Ann. WW and Byron Beck regret putting the "e" in "error."
