UPDATE: Chung pleads "not guilty" to ramming radio station

Andy Chung, the Vancouver man who ran his white Toyota Corolla into the Rose City Radio building on Southwest Bancroft Street, pleaded ‘not guilty' in Multnomah County Court today (see earlier WWire post "PK Get your Gun").

The 30-year-old was held in Clark County Jail, prior to being transferred to Multnomah County Jail on Thursday morning. Chung was denied release due to “mental health issues,” according to a Multnomah County judge. He has no previous record of criminal behavior and will appear before a grand jury on March 31.

Chung ran his car three times into the building that houses Jammin 95.5 and KXL News Radio last Friday. Chung appears to have a vendetta against Paul Allen—millionaire owner of Microsoft—a parent company to Rose City Radio.
