Chrismukkahkwanzaa Whore: Shop Standing Up

One of Portland's latest and greatest boutiques to scratch the surface of this town's collective creativity is Stand Up Comedy (811 E Burnside, Suite 119, www.shopstandingup.us). We're sure you have become familiar with its well-curated mix of eccentric, underground novelty items and structural pieces of clothing to dress yourself pretty. This tucked-away shop is a few bits androgynous and a few bits stark, with owners Diana Kim and Rachel Silberstein spotlighting collections by Rachel Comey, Rhus Ovata, Patrik Rzepski, Camilla Staerk and Slow and Steady Wins The Race. To entice you even further into their lair, and just in time for last-minute gift-giving, the duo is offering up 20% off almost everything in the store, (excluding printed matter) and 30 percent off designs by Staerk and Patrik Rzepski, both in-store and online from now until December 23rd. Check out this ultra modern pale grey, button down capelet by Denmark-born Staerk. 20_staerkcapedetail

And this cropped navy bolero by NYC's Rzepski.
