Portland Fashion Week, Night #2: Getting It Together


Tonight's runway show was way more lively. The models seemed to have a more confident swagger, (in particular, a Macy Gray look-alike) and the overall feel of the night wasn't as frantic. Seattle-based Lizzie Parker's poof of a feathered dress was a welcome, out-of-the-blue fashion statement.

Despite all the hype, PFW's opening night was quite lackluster. Yes, the Shipping Yard on Swan Island was seemingly at-capacity and an innovative venue, but in the end, it was an odd, desolate arena for the mix of people and events that took place.
