News From the Hip, a local journal devoted to the art of belly dancing, hosts the first of four performance showcases in 2013, featuring dancers profiled in the journal’s most current issue. Belly Dance Soulfire’s Claudia headlines this installment. The bill also includes Fanina, Ms. Belly Dancer USA 2011; improv expert Grace Constantine; burlesque performer Nina Nightshade; and live music by Middle Eastern band Ritim Egzotik.
