Bad Religion, the Bronx, Polar Bear Club

BRANDON WIDDER
8 pm., Sunday April 14 | $25 advance, $30 day of show.
Roseland Theater
8 NW 6th Ave.

[PUNK LUMINARIES] Vocalist Greg Graffin might be Bad Religion’s only consistent member over the band’s nearly 35-year lifespan, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the California punk icons are just his backing band. The band’s current lineup reunites three out of the four founding members: Graffin, guitarist Brett Gurewitz and bassist Jay Bentley. True North, the outfit’s 16th studio album, is a quick shot of an album, hell-bent on questioning society’s moral compass and teeming with the band’s usual socio-political motifs. Despite its lightning duration, it revels in the band’s intricate vocal harmonies, overlaid on the same slab of distortion and rhythmic outpourings that persistently crown Bad Religion the Warped Tour kings time after time.
