[WORKING-CLASS ROCK] Bruce Springsteen is not the only musician to come out of the Garden State. From Whitney Houston to the Misfits, many musicians have called New Jersey their home, including the tattooed, tender-loving boys of the Gaslight Anthem. Not much has changed since the band’s debut 2007 album, Sink or Swim, but the group continuously chugs along with its anthemic draw, bolstered by pop-punk hooks and fed by frontman Brian Fallon’s taste for melodrama. Yesteryear’s Handwritten, the band’s fourth album, features the boys’ signature rough-and-tumble sing-alongs and tales of fleeting youth, loathsome betrayal and wild nights. I guess it does sound like the Boss.
