Violinist Jennifer Koh, who has recorded other Bela Bartok works with Carlos Kalmar’s other orchestra in Chicago, is the star soloist in a 20th-century classic: Bartok’s dazzling, virtuosic 1938 Violin Concerto No. 2. The orchestra concludes its season with Brahms’ Symphony No. 1.
