Thee Oh Sees, OBN III's, The Blind Shake

MATTHEW SINGER
8 pm, Tuesday October 15 | $15 advance, $17 day of show.
Hawthorne Theatre
1507 SE César E. Chávez Blvd.

[GARAGE ROCK] John Dwyer is impossible to keep up with. The leader of Thee Oh Sees basically hasn't put his guitar down since forming the primordial version of the band in San Francisco in the late ’90s, releasing a steady, unending stream of albums, EPs and singles in between delivering the grooviest live shows of the current garage-rock crop. For all that, he's become a beacon for that particular scene, lighting a fire beneath fellow restless creatives like Ty Segall. New album Floating Coffin is Thee Oh Sees at their best: loud, trippy and wild. Should be awesome live.
