[THRASH] With GWAR on ice following the recent, tragic death of frontman Dave Brockie, aka Oderus Urungus, there is a niche/crevasse/orifice needing to be filled with blood, bile and spew, and Oakland’s Ghoul may just be the band to do it. The band claims to be from Creepsylvania, and its stage show features executioner hoods, fountains of blood and a robot-versus-monster showdown that must have Brockie weeping tears of slime in whatever hell he’s ruling over now. Main support on this Weapons of Mosh Destruction Tour is provided by recent Relapse signee Iron Reagan, which features Tony Foresta of nu-thrash giant Municipal Waste.
