[ANARCHO-PUNK] There are probably enough Oi! puns dating to the 1980s that none need to be uttered ever again. The Scottish dudes who make up Oi Polloi likely would disagree, naming their 1985 debut Destroi! the System. All this time later, the only audible difference in the band’s approach to gnarly punk politicism is its slower pace on 2012’s Duisg! The band’s recordings weren’t ever revolutionary. They still aren’t. But no one can claim that Deek Allan and his dozens of former bandmates don’t deeply believe in the music they’ve played.
