[SENIOR SHOCK ROCKERS] In the crüel world we live in, masters like Alice Cooper are trotted out as opening acts for train wrecks like Mötley Crüe. Don’t get me wrong: The Crüe has definitely earned its place in the glam-rock canon. Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars penned at least a half-dozen classic songs and helped co-write The Dirt, the best and most damning rock autobiography ever. By all accounts, the band is stumbling over the finish line on this "farewell" tour: Opening night was full of technical catastrophes and forgotten song arrangements. But this is our chance to say goodbye to those four warhorses, while a new generation gets welcomed to the nightmares of Mr. Cooper.
