[CELTIC ROCKABILLY] Where rockabilly and burlesque meet, there’s Imelda May. She sounds like Wanda Jackson and looks like a character from Sin City, with animal print tights and a twist of white-blonde hair curling 6 inches above her head. Hailing from Dublin, May is a superstar in Ireland and manifests the classic American export like a true Southern-born Elvis Presley devotee would. Her latest album, Tribal, is as sassy as her previous efforts and has never made this genre seem quite as cool.
