Echo & the Bunnymen

MATTHEW SINGER
8 pm, Sunday August 03 | $27.
Crystal Ballroom
1332 W Burnside St.

[ANGLOPHILIA] Did you know Echo & the Bunnymen have a new album out? Probably not. No matter: Though not held in the same regard as fellow ’80s vampires like, say, the Cure, Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant—the only two remaining original members—have almost as many classic albums to their credit, even if their brand of dark romanticism have proven a shade too dark to earn them festival-headliner status out on the reunion circuit. Have you listened to Crocodiles or Ocean Rain lately? Pretty killer.
