Ted Nugent

NATHAN CARSON
6:30 pm, Tuesday August 05 | $30.
Portland Expo Center
2060 N Marine Drive

[A CRAZY PERSON] The Motor City Madman is coming to the Portland Expo Center, conveniently located five minutes from the Yacht Club on Marine Drive. There, at what is billed as "Ted Nugent Uncensored aka the Shut Up & Jam Tour," a lot of white people will gather and hoot and holler and drink. More importantly, they will rock the fuck out, because even though the Nuge is completely off-the-deep-end crazy, he also absolutely rips on the guitar. He’s a classic example of an artist where appreciation demands you put your conscience in a stranglehold and submit your brain to a dose of cat-scratch fever. If you don't mind leaping over a few pesky moral hurdles, or if you're simply a total asshole, you will be rewarded by some flaming guitar licks and people-watching worth far more than the price of admission.
