[GARAGE AGAIN] Despite the rancorous dissolution of Seattle’s Murder City Devils and its band members’ other musical endeavors, the ensemble’s recently issued a follow up to its last long-player, 2000’s In Name and Blood. If MCD was known for its besotted garage swagger and Spencer Moody’s howling about a decade back, only the latter remains on The White Ghost Has Blood on Its Hands Again. Musically, MCD’s mellowed, and all that gnarly organ is absent or replaced by something more refined. But Moody still sounds as bonkers as ever.
