Willamette Week's Seventh Annual Eat Mobile
Join us Sunday, April 27, for Portland's Food Cart Festival
With more than 400 food carts selling their tasty goods within our city limits, Portland has become an international destination for mobile eats. U.S. News Travel and CNN have even declared Portland to have the "world's best street food."
Eat Mobile, part food festival, part cart competition, allows attendees to sample from more than 30 of Willamette Week's favorite food carts as vendors compete for the coveted Carty Award.
Eat Mobile showcases the food and people that make Portland's food scene so unique. Eat Mobile 2014, now happening on a Sunday instead of a Saturday, will feature shorter lines and fewer overall tickets sold, meaning more samples for YOU. Willamette Week and OMSI will once again work to create a more sustainable event by incorporating solar generators and waste-composting facilities.
The seventh annual Eat Mobile will be held Sunday, April 27, and is an all-ages event produced by Willamette Week, Portland's Pulitzer Prize-winning alternative newsweekly.
Tickets include samples from each of the 30+ participating carts. In addition to general admission tickets, a limited number of pre-tasting tickets will be sold, which will allow attendees to sample for an hour and a half before the general-admission event, enjoying short-to-no lines at each cart.

Promotions Stories Willamette Week’s third annual Eat Mobile food cart festival finally arrived Saturday afternoon, and it was huge. How huge? We squeezed 30 carts under two and a half blocks of the Morrison bridge and packed in some 1,900 hungry Portlanders (check out the line!), who between them drank 150 gallons of Pabst Blue Ribbon and ate every last bite of food. (Check out the big Eat Mobile photo slideshow by Roger Bong, too.) ... MoreFeb 3, 2011 09:13 am by Promotions
