DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:

[NEW SOUTHERN ROCK] Nashville’s Turbo Fruits incorporates two opposing forces with the release of third full-length Butter. On the one hand, it’s produced by Spoon’s Jim Eno, a wizard in the studio and standout drummer. On the other, it’s released via Kings of Leon’s record label, the ever-insufferable band known most recently for being shat on by pigeons. That said, Turbo Fruits comes out on top, crafting a punk-inspired brand of basement rock that pulls equally from the Hives and from the Walkmen. It’s the raucous, free-wheeling, occasionally surf-y type of rock that extends bar tabs well into closing time.
