But Scheinman—a Northern California-born, Brooklyn-based,&nbsp;<i>DownBeat</i>-award-winning violinist, arranger and composer—has worked with luminaries such as Bruce Cockburn, Jason Moran and Lucinda Williams and cut seven albums on her own. With such a versatile and varied resume, expect uncategorized music—drawn&nbsp;mostly from her 10 albums with longtime collaborator Frisell—in this PDX Jazz concert, ranging from rock to jazz to funk to folk and various points in between.<br><p></p>
