[WEEPING GUITAR] Chris Forsyth’s last album, <i>Kenzo Deluxe,</i> managed to elude the attention of the tastemakers and their 2012 year-end lists. More’s the pity, as what those folks missed was one of the more stunning solo-guitar statements of this still-young decade. The Philadelphia-based musician unwraps each composition calmly, letting melody and understated solos alluringly splay out over the stereo field. This mannerly approach is a far cry from the freeform splattering he partook in as a member of improvisational group Peeesseye, but it is a chance to hear this guitar master’s innate understanding of blues, folk and jazz in full flower.&nbsp;<p></p>
