Dan Hoyle says his epiphany came the day the journalist and playwright found himself sitting in a little garage cafe in San Francisco being offered sensitively prepared food crafted from morally conscious ingredients to help benefit the children of the Taliban, or "something to that effect." “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, what is America coming to?" recalls Hoyle.
