A Multnomah County Sheriff's deputy crashed a prisoner transport vehicle into a pillar and gate at the Multnomah County Detention Center, WW has learned. Twenty two prisoners were inside, and five were sent to the hospital for evaluation, Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Steve Alexander says. No one suffered serious injury in the crash.
