Sunday, August 10 marked the first Willamette Week and Pabst Bartender Olympics. Hosted at Powell AMF Lanes, the Olympics was a spectacle of what it really takes to be a bartender in this town. It was the unrefined bartender challenge.

After a close win in the Tater Tot eating contest and an overwhelming victory in the PBR shot gun event, Adam from Slabtown was the victor and winner of an all expense-paid trip to San Fransisco for the Outside Lands Music Festival. Heath from my fathers place came in a close second winning a PBR fridge with a years supply of PBR.

All contestents are winners in our eyes, as long as they can eat a lb of tator tots and fling a bar mat 70 ft.
