You Can Get Free Ramen and Coffee in Portland Right Now

If you're in NW Portland, this free stuff will fill you up.

It's Friday after 4 pm.

You're probably tired and hungry. Get your caffeine and noodle fixes—right now—because the new outposts of Black Rock Coffee (617 NW Hoyt St.) and Boxer Ramen (2309 NW Kearney St.) are giving away free things!

For opening day, Black Rock is giving away any coffee drink up to 16 ounces until 8 pm (limit one per person). You know Black Rock from its black drive-thru boxes on North Portland's grittier stretches. This is different, a wood-paneled coffee shop that looks a lot like Dig-a-Pony.

Boxer Ramen's Northwest location is soft-opening today too. It's giving away ramen to anyone who comes between 4 and 7 pm. Micah Camden's fast-food mini-empire continues its conquest.

Hurry. There is ramen to be eaten.
