The Bike Scavenger Hunt '04 presented by Shift and Willamette Week

When: Saturday, June 19, 9am-1pm

Where: The Bike Scavenger Hunt starts at River City Bicycles, 706 SE M L King Blvd. River City staff will be on hand starting at 8:00am for last second bike repairs and gear.

Ride through Portland in search of stuff (we'll give you a list) for the thrill of the chase and chance to win fabulous prizes!

The Bike Scavenger Hunt is tomorrow! We've stopped the online registration and will be on hand tomorrow morning starting at 8:00am (the hunt starts at 9:00am) to register riders the old fashioned way.

Here"s the LEGAL STUFF you should read before signing up: I know that riding a bicycle is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to WEAR A HELMET and abide by any decision of an official relative to my ability to safely complete this event and I further agree that event officials may authorize necessary emergency treatment for me. I also understand that police protection will not be provided, and vehicle traffic will be present along the course and I assume the risk of bicycling under such conditions. I further assume any and all other risks associated with participating in the 2004 Bicycle Scavenger Hunt including, but not limited to illness, traveling to and from the event, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather (including temperature extremes and humidity) and the surface condition of the roads, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge Willamette Week, Shift, the City of Portland, race officials, volunteers and any and all other sponsors, and any other personnel in any way assisting or connected with this event from any and all claims or liability of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of my participation in this event. This release must be signed prior to participating at the event. If under 18, it must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
