up: I know that riding a bicycle is a potentially hazardous activity.
I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and
properly trained. I agree to WEAR A HELMET and abide by any decision
of an official relative to my ability to safely complete this event
and I further agree that event officials may authorize necessary
emergency treatment for me. I also understand that police protection
will not be provided, and vehicle traffic will be present along
the course and I assume the risk of bicycling under such conditions.
I further assume any and all other risks associated with participating
in the 2004 Bicycle Scavenger Hunt including, but not limited to
illness, traveling to and from the event, falls, contact with other

extremes and humidity) and the surface condition of the roads, all
such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver
and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance
of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators
or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue,
and waive, release and discharge Willamette Week, Shift, the City
