The BlazerHood Live Comedy Show Begins Wednesday Night

Watch the Blazers vs. Hawks game with live color commentary at Funhouse Lounge.

Comcast got you down? Luckily, starting Wednesday, Funhouse Lounge begins their newest bi-monthly show, The BlazerHood Live.

Hosted by local comedians Dylan Reiff and Nick Walker, the show is part Blazers game, part salty commentary throughout the game.

Reiff and Walker will be be joined by other Portland comics, sports journalists, bloggers, Twitter personalities and basically anyone who can make jokes about jump shots and play by play puns. They're calling it an "anti-bro" way to watch Blazer games. Wednesday's guest is Jeremy Eli from Curious Comedy's weekly Minority Retort show, which is put on by Comedians of Color. Joining Eli is the Allen Crabbe Dance Team and Meyers Leonard's Image Consultant.

The BlazerHood Live starts at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Funhouse Lounge, 2432 SE 11th. Ticket are a suggested donation of $5, which sure beats a mandatory donation of at least $40 for a semi-decent seat with the only jokes told by the guy sitting alone next to you.
