Police blocked the blue Mazda Tribute, which they confirm was the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run, at Northeast Glisan Street and 16th Avenue.

Oregon Public Broadcasting reported this afternoon that the vehicle is registered to a 61-year-old man living at a Southeast Portland residential rehabilitation facility. WW has confirmed that registration with the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles. It's unclear whether he is the suspect.

Police have not yet released the name of the driver.

Witnesses say the Mazda drove onto a sidewalk near the intersection of Southwest 6th Avenue and Montgomery Street on the PSU campus and hit at least three people. Portland Police say the victims are in the hospital and that two have life-threatening injuries.
