But in the early evening when the club is all but empty, it's a surprisingly pleasant spot for a mellow drink or dinner à deux—folks old enough to be the parents of the typical post-college crowd have been spotted dining on fusion-y dishes like coconut curry mussels and lamb tamales. With luminescent loft-chic decor, pleasant servers and reasonably priced drinks, it's somewhere you can feel temporarily expensive, even when you're acting cheap.
