And for good reason. The Black Cat has been serving up frosty pints and stiff pours since before most WW readers were born. In the summer, Black Cat's back patio turns into a bring-your-own-barbecue space where horseshoe junkies can sling shoes, knock back a few beers and soak up the sun.

Happy hour: 50 cents off beer, $1.50 Hamm's and PBR with a student ID on Tuesday's college night; 4-6 pm Monday-Friday.
