Drink 2008

What could be merely a cozy, neighborly (and female-friendly) sports bar turns out to be a little more. Serving rotating microbrews and a huge selection of American, Canadian and Scottish whiskeys, the BPP offers classed-up booze in a dressed-down setting. The bartenders really know their shit, so don't hesitate to ask for suggestions. With a whiskey club, tons of TVs and board games, and friendly neighborhood patrons, you can almost imagine canceling your cable subscription and moving in.

Perfect Patron: Your dormmate—the one who left his mac-and-cheese pot in the bathroom sink until it sprouted legs, but you kind of had a crush on him anyway. (HN)
