OMG! Twilight's coming. And we've got the fan mail to prove it.

We asked Twilight fans to write 100-word stories with the characters from Stephenie Meyer's popular girl-meets-vampire young-adult fantasy series to win VIP tickets to an early screening of the film, opening this Friday, based on the first book. Here's our favorite, which we feel effortlessly melds Meyer's inexpert prose with a particularly Portland sensibility, plus excerpts from four runners-up. Click on the image for a closer.
