Hark, hark? What is that heavenly sound? Why, it's LocalCut's second annual holiday compilation, Another Grey Christmas, Vol. 2, of course. The comp features 14 exclusive traditional and original contributions from the following all-star crew (deep breath):
A Weather, Boy Eats Drum Machine, Dolorean, Easter Egg, Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble (Chris Funk of the Decemberists), Future Historians, Laura Gibson, Gingerbread Patriots, Ohioan and Native Kin, Old Believers (with Eskimo & Sons' Danielle Sullivan), Podington Bear, Run On Sentence (with Pancake Breakfast's Mike Midlo), Super XX Man (with Mike Johnson) and Ralf Youtz (of Ape Shape and Built to Spill).
All album proceeds go to P:ear, a local nonprofit that uses art and music to reach homeless and transitional youth. So, jeez, you can even feel good about buying it.
Three of the album's stars shared their wishes for the new year with WW. See them below.
