Portland City Commissioner Dan Saltzman has signed a new Park Rule that will make Portland Parks and Recreation's playgrounds and Pioneer Courthouse Square smoke-free starting on January 1st, 2007. "This is an important step
in creating a healthy, livable city," stated Commissioner Saltzman. "Making Portland's 'living room' and its playgrounds smoke-free benefits our entire community."
