Video: Blitzen Trapper, "Love the Way You Walk Away"

Now that's how you write a song about a real shitty hangover and a fight with the little lady. And that's how you direct a sentimental travelogue video while also showing plenty of love to your hometown. Blitzen Trapper, nowadays known more for folksy tunes like this fine number than psych-rock freakouts (a few of which can still be found on new disc American Goldwing), is kinda killing it with this one. And does Eric Earley not look more like a young-ish Bob Dylan every time you see him? Maybe it's just that harmonica rig around his neck, but I'm still thinking Bobby D. A little cuter, even. But I digress....

I will be fired within minutes if I fail to mention that Blitzen Trapper plays MFNW this year (11 pm on Friday down at ye old Crystal Ballroom), and I'd just be a jerk not to mention that the new disc, American Goldwing, is out Sept. 13 on the venerable Sub Pop label, which you've probably heard of.
