Mayoral TV, Bought And Unsought

Mayoral candidate Sho Dozono has a $60,000 broadcast ad buy on the way.
As yet, Dozono's camp isn't offering a sneak preview. But we're guessing they're not going to air with this:

Or this:

The Dozono campaign recently made a direct mail buy through a top-flight firm that's working for Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. His broadcast media buyer is Media Strategies and Research out of Denver, Colorado, which worked on Clinton's 2000 U.S. Senate campaign in New York.
Dozono's opponent, Commissioner Sam Adams, made a $30,000 ad buy last week, through a corporation associated with adviser Mark Wiener's consulting firm.
Here's the Adams ad:

It's got a whopping 166 views on YouTube. Make that 167.
"Sam stands up for regular folks...true progressive...Sam has a plan to cut the dropout rate...protect our neighborhoods...move Portland forward...because Portland belongs to all of us" blah blah blah.
Here's an opportunity for Dozono to toss that "lacks specifics" grenade back at Adams. But don't hold your breath.
Dozono's got to deal with last night's KGW scoop on his, um, "business move" to stop paying rent to the city of Portland for the public property that houses his downtown restaurant, Bush Gardens.
