Free Slurpees Today, Free Chicken Tomorrow

It's 7-Eleven's birthday and Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A.

Today, 7/11, marks Free Slurpee Day at all participating 7-Eleven locations.

In celebration of America's biggest convenience store's 89th birthday, if you walk into a 7-Eleven store between 11 am and 7 pm today, you can claim a free small slurpee. This year also marks the 50th birthday of the slurpee.

A special, limited edition birthday cake flavor is being offered for the occasion. Once that's gone, these other icy, alcoholic drinks that can be found around Portland.

Today free slurpees, tomorrow free chicken. July 12 is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A. They sell chicken, not beef. Remember this terrifying logo that debuted in 1998?

The famously anti-LGBTQ chain is honoring cows tomorrow by giving free entrees to guests who dress up as cows (until 7pm). But don't rush to a specialty Halloween store or sex shop quite yet—the company specifies the deal applies to "anyone wearing anything cowlike."
