Two years ago, Culmination started as fast, furious and eclectic as any brewery in Portland—with one of the city’s best IPAs in Phaedrus, a Burton ale called Trumpet Major that was one of our favorite 10 beers of 2017, and a wild range of sours, browns and farmhouses.

No Other Portland Brewery Does Food Like Burnside

Pretty much no other brewery has made food as big a focus as Burnside in the eight years it’s been open—and in the past two years the LoBu brewery has doubled down with a truly excellent and tender pork belly plate, and maybe the only Spanish octopus dish in a Portland brewpub.
