Ibiza Raided

At about 10:00 am today, officers from the East Precinct Property Crimes Unit and Drugs and Vice Division executed a search warrant at Ibiza Restaurant located in the 900 block of Southwest 2nd Avenue. The warrant was issued as part of an ongoing fraud investigation. During the investigation, officers developed probable cause to believe that at least one individual involved with the restaurant was engaging in fraudulent bank transactions.
As part of the ongoing investigation, officers arrested 43-year-old Ramin Zamani on two counts of Theft in the First Degree and one count of Theft in the Second Degree. Officers also removed evidence associated with the ongoing investigation from the business.
This investigation is continuing.
